AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I am new to running GroupAna and am having trouble with the interface. It is not asking questions in the order shown on the AFNI site. Following the questions about whether or not this is a balanced design (mine is unbalanced) and if my design is one of the possible options (it is), it asks me to enter the sample size per combination (As there is an unequal sample size for each group I wasn't sure what to put here so I put in the total sample size-66). It then tells me there should be 'totally 66 input files'. I type that this is correct. It then asks for the output file name (in bucket format). No matter what I type here I get the following error,
??? Error using ==> format
Too many output arguments.

Error in ==> GroupAna at 960
OutFull = sprintf('%s+%s.HEAD', OutFN, format);

Based on what other researchers in our lab have told me, I was expecting the interface to look pretty much exactly like it does in the example posted on the AFNI site. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there might be something wrong with the program. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Laura Ellingson
