Hi Pat,
The fact that you ran ./afni_vcheck (instead of just afni_vcheck)
suggests to me that your latest version of AFNI is not in your path.
Maybe you downloaded a current release, but did not overwrite the
old package with it.
Note that afni_vcheck does not do a precise job of checking to see
whether your version is current, because it just seems to use that
"Version ID", which only changes every couple of months.
Use both lines of output from "afni -ver" to check your version.
What is that output? Also, what is the output of "which afni"?
