AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I'm struggling with some collinearity problems.

This is a memory experiment with 3 stimulus types and 3 respones options (9 stimulus classes). I am encountering a problem with my analysis because participants make few responses (1 or 2 per experiment) in 3 of the stim classes. My signal + baseline and signal only matrix have values very close to zero (5.1e-7 and 4.2e-7) causing 3dDeconvolve to shut down.

I'm having problems handling the collinearity. I thought I could attach the Xmat so someone may be able to determine where the collinearity is arising, and how to best handle it.

Thanks,

Erin
