AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Ken,

Please don't install any version-specific RPMs, you would
be begging for trouble in doing so.

The yum installer should be good enough for you, just
specify the package name. Note that I am not 100% sure
that Xp is a Core6 package, though it is in Fedora (no
longer Core) 7. If not (which is unlikely), the command
below will just tell you the package is not found.

I don't know if you plan to compile yourself, or just to
run the AFNI applications, but maybe it's best to install
the developer headers, too, just in case.

So install these packages (as root):

yum install libXp libXp-devel
