AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi AFNI gurus,

I have an event-related design, and I have some ROIs drawn. So far I have extracted the averaged ROI signal from different experimental conditions using 3dmaskave and compared them. What I would like to try next is extracting the ROI signal averages _lag by lag_ over the course of the event. So I'd like to have a signal average for each ROI x condition x lag.

I took a look through the AFNI site trying to find out how to do this, but the only thing I can find is how to extract ROI signal over the timecourse of the scan, which isn't what I'm looking for - I'd like the average signal, spatially averaged over the ROI, temporally averaged over all the events of that experimental condition, but lag by lag for that averaged event. Is that possible?

I hope that makes sense! Thanks very much!
