AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Liz,

We did a study a while ago and published here:
Bellgowan P.S.F., Z.S. Saad, and P.A. Bandettini (2003). “Understanding Neural System Dynamics Through Task Modulation and Measurement of Functional MRI Amplitude, Latency, and Width.” PNAS: 100 (3) 1415-1419

The optimization was carried out in matlab but you can use 3dNLfim for something similar.
You will need to create your own model for 3dNLfim in C , and compile it as a .so (shared object). This is not as hard as it sounds, examples and instructions for doing this can be found towards the end of this document:
