AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Uploading the resulting NifTi files failed, twice. I guess this information will have
to suffice. My concern is, same program + same arguments = seriously different results.
I suppose the difference wouldn't matter, if it was consistent across scan types. The
anatomical data gets a coordinate set using the newer AFNI which is consistent with
EPI and anatomical data processed with the older to3d. The end result, using the
latest AFNI, is functional data sets which require a manual spatial tranlation to begin an
alignment to the anatomical data acquired in the same session.
Yes, I tries 3drefit -xorigin cen -yorigin cen -zorigin cen hoping that centering
the origins would bring the func/anat images closer. No dice. The bottom slice of the
functional(overlay) still shows up at the very top of the anatomical(underlay).
