AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello all,

We have a data set (matrix) generated by a simulation that we would like to convert to AFNI format (for deconvolution purposes). The file has n rows (1 row per voxel), each beginning with the ijk coordinates, and each row has 900 values for 900 acquisitions.

We could not find a way to convert this file, in 1 step, into AFNI format so that we could run a deconvolution procedure on its contents. Seems that 3ddeconvolve can operate on a single column txt input with the input1D flag, and 3dundump can similarly convert only a single column.

Are we missing anything-- that is, is there a simple way to convert our file? The other alternative would be to extract one row at a time from the text file and input to 3ddeconvolve, and then concatenate the BRIK outputs once all rows are done, but if there is a more elegant solution, we'd love to know.

Thanks,
Oori
