AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Dear AFNI,
I am planning a fast event related design. TR=3sec, duration=12 min, 2 stimuli types, 40 trials each. mean ISI=6sec, ISI range=3-12sec.

I am debating two designs. One has each stimulus time-locked to the start of the TR, the other has each stimulus with a random temporal jitter (0-500ms) from start of TR.

I am trying to use 3dDeconvolve -nodata to estimate if temporal jitter would significantly affect design efficiency. But when using both -nodata and -stim_times options, how do I specify the total duration of the experiment?
Thanks,
Andy
