AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello Rick and Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for your reply. So as I understand your recommendations, I'd be fine just keeping everything in 1mm-cubed resolution for the group MCC.
In fact, I've already run the MCC analyses both ways, with and without resampling. Of course, the resulting maps look very much the same, aside from the resolution differences, in that the clustered regions match. For the results on the un-resampled maps, I get clusters anywhere from approximately 200 to 610 1mm-cubed voxels, depending on the connectivity radius that I choose.
So my final question is, is it OK to report my 3dmaxima results in 1mm-cubed resolution? No surprise, I get a whole lot more maxima with the finer resolution, but I assume I can make up for this by choosing a larger minimal distance as an option to my 3dmaxima command.
Just wanna be sure I'm doin' this right, Rick.
And as for your tip about the Residuals, thank you! I always compute them when I run 3dDeconvolve in my individual subject analyses. Makes running MCC on each subject real easy.
Most gratefully yours,
Whitney
