AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello All,

I'm attempting to create spatial clusters using nearest neighbor connectivity ( a la the fantastic new interactive cluster module with rmm = 0). To do so I'm using 3dclust with the "dxyz=1" option. As I understand it this option will assume that all voxel dimensions are 1mm so that voxel volume can be interpreted as voxel count.

So is it copacetic to use this option when the actual voxel dimensions are 3x3x3mm? That is, will the voxel volume still accurately represent the number of 3x3x3mm voxels in the cluster (I know that it would be necessary to multiply this count by 3^3 to get the accurate volume) or do I have to resample the BRIK to 1x1x1 first?

thanks,
andrew
