AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

There's no attribute IJK_TO_DICOM_REAL for this dataset.

When I run 3dinfo, I get
"Data Axes Tilt: Unspecified, assumed plumb"
which AFAICT occurs only in thd_info.c, and happens when
"ISVALID_MAT44(dset->daxes->ijk_to_dicom_real)"
is false (which is consistent with not having such an attribute).

My guess as to what's going on: the dataset was originally processed with an older version of AFNI, old enough that the IJK_TO_DICOM_REAL attribute wasn't used at the time (just a hunch). Some/most of the oblique stuff was added in Dec 2007. It can't find the attribute so issues a warning.
