We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

The latest upgrade to AFNI source and binaries includes the interactive display of the estimated FDR q-value beneath the threshold slider, as well as the nominal per-voxel p-value.

For more information on FDR and what a q-value means and how it is calculated, see this:

Note that a couple of errors in the FDR q-izing code were fixed yesterday, and so anyone who updated before today (30 Jan 2008) needs to re-update ASAP. (This means you, Jill!)

If q-values confuse you, you are of course free to ignore them.
