Hi Srikanth,

In 3dTshift, I believe detrending is done mostly for the benefit
of any future Fourier interpolation. There might be a minor
benefit of having smaller numbers for polynomial interpolation,
but it shouldn't make much of a difference (probably would help
to avoid truncation or overflow artifacts).

Are you worried about the accuracy of the Fourier interpolation
with only the linear trend removed?
