AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

In the attached figures you will see graphs of PSC time series data with the results from the regression analysis (“the ideal model”) as an overlay (blue line) [stimuli are indicated in red]. I would like your advice on two issues I am unsure of. First, in the 3dDeconv analysis, I have censored out time points due to fluctuations in signal from the scanner. However, when I plot the modeled fit, it doesn’t seem to take this in consideration, as it is modeling the time points that were censored. Is the censoring not working? What should I see if these time points are censored? When does the censoring occur? In the first graph, the first 29TRs were censored and in the second graph, about 20TRs towards the end were censored. Secondly, looking at these two graphs, in your opinion do you feel that the model fits the data? Thank you.
