AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I recently updated my AFNI binaries, and I see the new warnings about oblique datasets. Almost all my data is oblique, and I'm well aware of it thanks to the helpful info on this website. I have routinely been "obliquifying" my anatomicals to be suitable underlays for the functional data.

There are warnings about the oblique datasets when starting afni, when running 3ddeconvolve - that's fine. But there is also a pop-up warning every single time I change underlay or overlay - now that's getting annoying. Maybe you could do away with that warning, or at least make an environment variable to disable it (to mollify grumpy people like me).

Grumble grumble. Thanks!
