AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Rick's suggestion is a good one. Besides that method, to create a montage of slices across time, you could extract specific slices for specific time points with 3dZcutup and then put them back together with 3dZcat as a single volume, then just use the montage function in the image viewer.

Even if you just save each of the slices with the image viewer save function, you can create a montage with imcat.

You can also set up multiple slices from different time points with multiple AFNI controllers and save the layout file.

The environment variable AFNI_NOSPLASH set to YES will turn off the splash screen. We're used to seeing Ziad fester, so it doesn't bother us....
