AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. I am having problems setting up the tcsh correctly for afni.
I have mac OS X 10.4.11

I followed all of the installation directions and installed Xterm and fink etc.

Whenever I open xterm it starts with this error

tcsh: set: Variable name must begin with a letter.

then when I am in xterm, no commands work , when i type something like ls it says :
tcsh: ls: Command not found.

I can open afni if i cd to abin and open it there, but i can't open it from AFNIdata

So, I can open AFNI, but there are no files to look at in the abin directory.

I have tried to read everywhere what the error comes from, but instead of messing up my computer even more, I thought I would post here.
