Given the structure of the existing program, the simplest way to implement this '-stim_ignore' idea would be to zero out the matrix columns that are being shunned. As a side effect, this would lead to a number of warning messages, but the program would give correct results with the SVD matrix solver. Would this be an acceptable solution to you?
