Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

Although I don't know exactly what you're trying to accomplish, various ways to make datasets that can be used as ROI masks are 3dUndump to create ROIs from text files with various options for spheres and boxes, 3dcalc to make datasets from various calculations (possibly based on position), whereami to create masks from atlases or use those atlas-based masks as input datasets.
