AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out the order in which 3dDeconvolve outputs beta coefficients when using AM regression and deconvolution models (e.g., TENTs).

Assuming two stimulus classes, a two tent model, and amplitude modulation (AM2), here is that order that seems most intuitive to me, based on past experience with 3dDeconvolve:

coef#1 <= first AM coef for first tent regressor for first stimulus class
coef#2 <= second AM coef for first tent regressor for first stimulus class
coef#3 <= first AM coef for second tent regressor for first stimulus class
coef#4 <= second AM coef for second tent regressor for first stimulus class
coef#5 <= first AM coef for first tent regressor for second stimulus class
coef#6 <= second AM coef for first tent regressor for second stimulus class
coef#7 <= first AM coef for second tent regressor for second stimulus class
coef#8 <= second AM coef for second tent regressor for second stimulus class

Is that right?
