You've got me worried!
I thought the R-squared stat was a basic part of the connectivity analyses as outlined by Gang Chen. That's what I've been using. I also know of some San Diego AFNI users who also use the rout option for their functional connectivity analyses.
As well, I thought that 3dREML was particularly relevant for connectivity analyses. I assumed it was to be used for both the seed voxel identification and subsequent connectivity assessments.
This morning I just presented a PPI result using a 3dREML-based seed voxel predictors and the old reliable 3dDeconvolve to estimate the strength of the connectivity. You might say I conducted a mixed methods PPI connectivity analyses.
So, should I be using 3dREML to estimate the connectivity magnitude as well as the seed voxel?
Thanks.
