AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

1) When you attach an image, it has to be the last thing you do before 'Post'. If you 'Preview', any attached image is lost -- as appears to have happened in your post.

2) Without the image, I simply don't understand your question. Do you mean what the "Where Am I" window reports? If so, you have to realize that the results from "Where Am I" are based not on the TT_N27 images (which are from 1 particular postdoc), but are collated from various brain atlases. Given inter-subject anatomical variability, it is quite likely that there are peripheral areas of the cortex (etc.) that are inside the atlases at some Talairach coordinates, but are outside the N27 subject's brain.
