AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

If you want to do this just once, you could open a coronal image viewer on that dataset, open the Disp control panel, and turn off all the 'Save to' options, and turn off 'Save One'. At that point, the 'Save' button in the image viewer should now show 'Save:bkg'. You can now use that button to write the image sequence out.

If you want to do this from a script, you can investigate the from3d program. However, that program is highly limited in what it can write out, and you might need to flip the 3D orientation of the volume with 3daxialize first, before using from3d.
