AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Ah, good point. The lab setup is such that the binaries are nfs-mounted, while the lab machines are clearly heterogeneous.

For curiosity's sake, it appears that the 2.6 kernel box has gcc 4.1 and libc 2.5, and the 2.4 kernel box has gcc 3.3 and libc 2.3.

The version installed is linux_glibc22. I'm a little confused as to why there are binaries for gcc versions AND glibc versions, instead of for their combinations, but I'm happy to stay in the dark about that :)

The box that crashes seems to do just fine on most 3ddeconvolves the lab does, but I'm happy to exclude it for my purposes.

Thanks!
