AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi
We are setting up an event-related fMRI experiment. The lenght of our trial is 4000 ms (500 fixation + 3500 word presentation). The TR is 2000 ms. We have been suggested to use these jitter values: 0-2000-4000-6000 ms.

However, wasn't it the case that if the overall trial length was a multiple of the TR, the bold response was always sampled in the same points, leading to a poor estimation of the HRF? We would be grateful if you could clarify this issue.

Which jitter values would you suggest?

Thanks
Elisa
