AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Signy,

Did you get an X matrix from that? If not, consider adding the
'-x1D my.xmat.1D' (or with a better output filename).

With that you can try to use xmat_tool.py to look at condition
number or warning from the correlation matrix. If you have
columns that are too similar, that would point them out.

Assuming you have a file called my.xmat.1D, look at the output
of the command:

xmat_tool.py -show_cormat_warnings -load_xmat my.xmat.1D

(or you can try options -show_conds or -show_cosmat_warnings)

If you don't have the python libraries needed to run that program
(test with "xmat_tool.py -test_libs"), please feel free to upload
or mail me that X matrix file, and I can tell you what it shows.
