I am running a connectivity analysis and have the t-test results but would like to report the r also. I asked an author who had report the r for his paper and he answered the following:
We calculate the standard Pearson's r statistic by correlating the seed's beta series (for a given task stage/condition) with the beta series (from the same task stage/condition) of each brain voxel. We implement this in Matlab after the glm with one parameter for each stage of each trial has been estimated. We read in all the beta images into memory, get the one's that correspond to the appropriate task stage/condition, and then do the correlations. I can send you the code we use to do this, since perhaps it will be helpful, but it's designed for SPM, so you'll need to tweak things to read in your AFNI 3D+t briks into matlab.
I don't have the code though. But could you tell me how to do this in AFNI?
thanks,
