AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all,

I'm using the latest afni which I downloaded this morning (GMT) and am trying to use align_epi_anat.py but am having problems.

I have an anat.nii file which I also copyed to anat+orig. with 3dcopy

when running 3dAttrubute on both these files I get the following:

colmconn@cortex:/scratch/deoblique/auto> 3dAttribute DELTA anat+orig.
++ Environment variable AFNI_VERSION_CHECK already set to 'NO'. Value of 'NO' from /home/thpsy/colmconn/.afnirc is ignored.
++ Environment variable AFNI_NOSPLASH already set to 'YES'. Value of 'YES' from /home/thpsy/colmconn/.afnirc is ignored.
*+ WARNING: If you are performing spatial transformations on an oblique dset,
such as ./anat+orig.BRIK,
or viewing/combining it with volumes of differing obliquity,
you should consider running:
3dWarp -deoblique
on this and other oblique datasets in the same session.
See 3dWarp -help for details.
++ Oblique dataset:./anat+orig.BRIK is 1.273800 degrees from plumb.
0.898438 -0.898438 0.9

The DELTA values are missing from the NIfTI file. I can but presume this is a bug, unless I'm doing something catastrophically stupid.

Bye,

Colm.
