AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi!

I would appreciate your opinion on how to do establish QC procedures in AFNI.
Are there any scripts, programs, which you would recommend for reporting QC measures for fMRI and MRI data.

SPM offers something like SPMd, which is as I understand a procedure, which identifies outliers on a statistical level.

Anything similar, which can be done in AFNI and is not based on visual inspection?

I would be nice e.g. to check following aspects:

- is something fishy with 3D+t time series signals
- does a certain fMRI image look significantly different than the rest (e.g. large susceptibility arefact, etc.)
- are structurals to blurry
- went something wrong with alignment
etc...

Any inputs would be appreciated,

Lukas
