AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Sorry for the late reply... I was out of town.

yes, I got SD values using "-sresp" command in 3dDecon, and values are added in the 3rd column.

Coef Tstat SD
-0.1947 -0.1641 0.1186
-0.0314 -0.2652 0.1186
0.2725 2.2806 0.1195
0.3893 3.2582 0.1195
0.1590 1.3242 0.1201
-0.1989 -1.6512 0.1204
-0.2729 -2.2698 0.1202
-0.3023 -2.5223 0.1199
-0.2204 -1.8550 0.1188
-0.1105 -0.9183 0.1204

I have a feeling that SD/sqrt(number of trial) is not a valid calculation to get sem in deconvolution analysis. Other papers that do deconvolution appear to show "(between-subject SD at each time point)/sqrt(number of subjects)" as error bars. Is this the right approach to plot deconvolution time-series? If you could suggest any stats/MRI source that explain this, it'll be very helpful for us.

Thanks so much for your time! Akiko
