AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi afni experts,

I have a mask that has 9 different values (9 different ROIs) and I wanted to know if there is a quick way to get the number of voxels for each ROI in the mask. I have looked at 3dROIstats and 3dmaskave but I am unclear about the easiest way to get the total voxel count for each of the 9 values in the mask.

I've used:
3dmaskave -drange ROIvalue mask that gives me a voxel count with a useless mean, but I would have to do this for each of the 9 ROI values and I have multiple masks to do this on. Is there an easier way?

Thanks,
Megan
