AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi there,
I am currently using the most recent version of AFNI and I am running the deconvolution script which is attached. cat_TS stands for the concatenated timeseries which is unsmoothed. Also there are four runs . When I look into the resulting bucket I see no sub-bricks for any of the baseline parameters which I did include with polort 2. Also what is strange is that the IRFs are different--it appears that the baseline may have not been removed but I don't know. What do you think is wrong if anything and if not wrong can you explain these differences between old files and that of the new version of AFNI. I am trying to use the statistics obtained from the deconvolution to do an FDR analysis and I am worried that the deconvolution results may be wrong. I would greatly appreciate any info you have on this. Like is my "old" way of doing the event-related design obsolete?
thanks much.
