AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello,
I have a strange case of dicoms that are converted to nifti in the wrong endian (the only explanation for this is if the header and data are in written in different machines I guess..) I can solve this problem by switching the endian on the datafile. I was wondering whether it would be more elegant to switch the header endian so that the img/hdr pair is read in with the correct endianess. I tried to use nifti_tool -swap_as_nifti ... and I got: ** unknown option: '-swap_as_nifti'
First question is, is there a program that flips the endian?
Is this the best way to approach this problem?

Thanks a lot,
