AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello Gang,

This is right, thank you. It seems to be because I removed the transpose sign ('/) after SEED_Neur_C3_5392.1D etc. in the 1deval command step. Otherwise I am told that the G"i?"Acoding (where condition A is coded with 1s) is too short. This problem persists even when I add a line at the end of the GAcoding files.

I saw on the message board that this may signal that one of the input files needs to be transposed. When I transpose the Acoding as well, deconvolution works fine.

1deval -a SEED_Neur_C3_5392.1D\' -b G1Acoding.txt\' -expr 'a*b' > Inter_neu_C3_A_5392.1D

However, there is something I do not understand. When I use the AvsBcoding input file (to compare two conditions), I do not need to transpose the condition marker .1D file. However, when I have the Acoding alone, it needs to be done. Why is this the case? Both the AvsB and the Acoding are .1D files.

All the best,
Jana
