AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Computational Brain Anatomy / Shape Analysis
Columbia University at the New York State Psychiatric Institute

A postdoctoral position is open in the Division of Molecular Imaging and Neuropathology at Columbia University involving image processing of brain MRI data to extract anatomical structures, analyze their shapes, and construct a Bayesian framework for brain feature matching underlying a completely new version of the Mindboggle automated anatomical labeling software (http://www.mindboggle.info).

The postdoctoral fellow will work with Dr. Arno Klein (http://www.binarybottle.com) during a 3-year period on a federally funded NIMH R01. The resulting database will be made publicly available and the open source, modular codebase will be in Python and C/C++. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, computational neuroscience or a related field. Prior experience in neuroanatomy, machine learning, and/or Python programming would be desirable.

To be considered for this position applicants should submit a CV and references via email to:
