AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Dear AFNI experts,

I recently changed from GroupAna to 3dLME. We are using a paradigm with 2
emotional conditions (Faces and IAPS scenes) and one control condition (Shapes). Did I
understand correctly that a contrast like (Faces + Shapes) - Forms is not possible
at the moment or did I specify it in a wrong way (see below). If this would be theoretically correct, do you plan to implement this kind of contrast in 3dLME.R?

Data:Volume
Output:LME
MASK:
Model:Age+Gender*Regressor
COV:Age
RanEff:1
VarStr:1
CorStr:0
SS:sequential
Faces-Shapes
0*0*Faces-0*0*Shapes
IAPS-Shapes
0*0*IAPS-0*0*Shapes
Faces+IAPS-Shapes
0*0*Faces+0*0*IAPS-0*0*Shapes
......
Subj Age Gender Regressor InputFile
1F 22 F Faces 1F_coefFaces_ultralow+tlrc
1F 22 F IAPS 1F_coefIAPS_ultralow+tlrc
1F 22 F Shapes 1F_coefForms_ultralow+tlrc
2F 23 F Faces 2F_coefFaces_ultralow+tlrc
...

Thank you yery much for your help!
