AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Terry,

It might be good for you to look over some of the documentation
for 3dDeconvolve or other AFNI programs in general (as these
questions you have do not pertain to only 3dDeconvolve).

Here are some handouts that include 3dDeconovle examples (as well
as other programs creating output datasets):

[afni.nimh.nih.gov]
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]

And here is the 3dDeconvolve manual, which has many examples:

[afni.nimh.nih.gov]

---

Basicaly, when providing an output prefix for AFNI programs, the
only time an extension should be provided is when you want non-AFNI
output (such as for NIFTI).

Your examples all include +orig in the output prefix, but they
should not.

Your options were listed as:

-errts Decon_res+orig.nii.gz \
-bucket Decon+orig.BRIK.gz \
-cbucket Decon_coefs+orig.BRIK.gz \

but they should be written as:

-errts Decon_res.nii.gz
-bucket Decon
-cbucket Decon_coefs

I hope that helps.

- rick
