One by one...
I am familiar with the SHM errors that cause the connection between AFNI and SUMA to be dropped. I have yet to find out what or who (AFNI or SUMA) is the cause of it. But there are two ways around it when it happens.
1- Press 't' twice in suma, once to close up, and another to reopen the connection.
2- Startup suma with -ah 127.0.0.1 which forces connection by TCP rather than shared memory. Downside is that the connection is a bit slower, on some machines.
Someday, I'll try and debug that SHM problem.
As for the F2 problem, you got me there too. I'll track it down as soon as possible.
But for some positive news, try this:
Download the latest suma_tlrc.tgz from [
afni.nimh.nih.gov]
and check out the difference in SUMA, and try the Dsp menu in the Dset Controls area of the surface controller. Also note the Lbl section of Xhair Info block.
Documentation will follow, someday. For now, BHelp is all you get.
cheers,
