A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Kristina Simonyan, Department of Neurology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. The research emphases of the laboratory are on the studies of brain mechanisms of voice and speech production and the neuropathological basis of primary focal dystonias using multi-modal neuroimaging approach (fMRI, DTI, PET).

The ideal candidate will have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. in neuroscience or a relevant field, knowledge of connectivity analysis methods and neuroreceptor mapping. Familiarity with computational (especially Linux, MATLAB) and statistical (AFNI, FSL) methods is preferred.
