AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello again,

After looking through these interpolation modes, I'm not sure if there is one that is adequate for my needs...

I am analyzing tiny fluctuations in the BOLD signal correlated to behavioral parameters. I am expecting small clusters, such as the red nucleus.

Is there a technique to resample based on the volume of the voxels that overlap? For example if the resampled voxel is completely within the original voxel then it will retain that value (similar to nearest neighbor), but if the resampled voxel straddles two or more voxels in +orig space, then the percentage of the volume that overlaps will be multiplied by the value of the overlapping +orig voxel (similar to linear interpolation, but using volume instead of distance and using only the voxels that are involved, not all eight nearest voxels).
