AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi AFNI experts,

I met a problem when I analyzed my DTI data. I used another software to do some preprocesses of my data. I got a nifti file which the datum type is 'rgb'. AFNI can show this data correctly (a pretty colorful figure).

However, this data is not overlapped to the same dataset pre-processed by AFNI. So I transfered from this nifti file to 'BRIK'/'HEAD' files and used @Align_Centers. Then, they are overlapped exactly.

Now the problem is coming. After transfered from nifti to 'BRIK'/'HEAD' files, the datum type was changed (from 'rgb' to 'float') automatically. I do not know how to change back.

Could you please do me a favor and tell me how to do it? I need this data as 'rgb' but not 'float.'

Thanks a lot!
