AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi there,
I am not so clear how to set option slice of 3dTshift for datasets acquired in different Z direction, one from inferior to superior and another on from superior to inferior.
For datasets 1 (from inferior to superior), if I did
1. to3d -prefix d1.hdr -epan -time:zt 31 132 0 alt+z input_files
2. 3dTshift -prefix d1.ts.hdr -slice 0 d1.hdr
right?
For datasets 2 (from superior to inferio), if I did
1. to3d -prefix d2.hdr -epan -time:zt 31 132 0 alt-z input_files2
2. 3dTshift -prefix d2.ts.hdr -slice 30 d2.hdr
right?
But for datasets 2, I did not notice that they were acquired from superior to inferior until very late after I finished processing them. I processed them like datasets 1. What do you think? right? wrong?
If I did it for datasets 2 (from superior to inferio),
1. to3d -prefix d2.hdr -epan -time:zt 31 132 0 alt-z input_files2
but
2. 3dTshift -prefix d2.ts.hdr -slice 0 d2.hdr - right?

Thanks for your help.
