James suggestion of the 1d_tool.py command is a good one. And yes,
use the higher polort.
Just guessing, I would wonder if your 3dvolreg command used the
-dfile option to output motion parameters (as opposed to -1Dfile).
If so, then column #0 of the 'mot' file would be a sub-brick index,
so your 3dDeconvolve command would then need to use columns #1..#6.
What does "1d_tool.py -infile Xmat.x1D -show_cormat_warnings" say?
That should get written out even if there are matrix errors. Ah,
I think the name is not correct, and should be Xmat.x1D.
Also, what is the output of "head mot"?
