AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello All,

I'm considering using the diffusion plugin to analyze some data we have been collecting. Currently we are using DTIstudio, but it'd be nice to use afni because we are already using afni to analyze epi data. Also we hope to create functionally derived ROIs and apply those to the diffusion data. But I have a couple questions.

1) Is there a way of registering the diffusion data to standard tlrc space?

2) Is there a way to use a spherical mask (or functional mask; with the necessary dilation to capture white matter) created in standard space and apply that to individual Diffusion data in standard space to look at only FA or Tensor values for those connections to that region (or between that and another region).

Thanks,
Steve
