AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi everybody,

Quick question. In the attached images there is pronounced banding present in the outside the head in the EPIs and appears to be introduced by running 3dvolreg as follows:

3dvolreg -Fourier -1Dfile T0245.breathing1_vr_motion.1D -base 'T0245.breathing1+orig.HEAD[249]' -prefix T0245.breathing1.reg T0245.breathing1+orig.HEAD
++ 3dvolreg: AFNI version=AFNI_2011_12_21_1014 (Feb 16 2012) [64-bit]

Anybody know what it is and whether I can safely ignore it (I don're recall having seen anything like it before)?

Thanks,

Colm.
