AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi David,

I see what you mean, but do not trust the alignment shown by such images
(where one cannot follow the cortical folds of the datasets). Actually, the way
your older images follow the contours worries me (perhaps you used mutual
information for the cost function?).

My expectation is that the new alignment is good. If you would like me to take
a closer look at a couple of subjects, that would be okay (though we might not
have a working upload method that the moment, I am not sure).

In any case, review the alignment for a subject by turning off the overlay and
using 'u' key to toggle between the anat and EPI as the underlay. That is a
great way to really evaluate the alignment.
