AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Rick,

I was confused myself and realized that we should not just throw away additional volumes that were acquired at the end. The study was designed so that 50 TRs included the various stimuli as well as fixation crosses for "rest." After TR 50, the participant would see the slide "rest" twice (2 additional volume acquisitions), then E-Prime turned off and the 2 more volumes were acquired before the participant was taken out of the scanner (I have to check with our MRI physicist again regarding any reasoning). For the last volumes participants did not look at the fixation cross that we used otherwise for "rest" but the volumes would be still considered rest. So, based on the foregoing thoughts I would agree with you not to exclude these, correct?
