AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

AFNI experts,

I was wanting to do voxel-wise (or, node-wise via use of the surface mapped data) correlation analysis at a group level. I was looking through available 3dXXX programs, and at first I thought that 3ddot might do what I was looking for, but now I am not so sure, as it seems to only take 2 datasets as input.

What I want to look at is at each voxel (or at each node) whether variable X (such as % signal change) and varibale Y (anatomical variable, such as cortical thickness) correlates, at a group level. In other words, I am looking for voxels (or nodes) where cortical thickness and % signal change correlates when looking at a group of individuals. Since other programs (such as 3dttest++) can handle voxel-wise covariate, I am positive afni is able to compute voxel-wise correlation between two variables. But I was wondering if I am able to get a coefficient r for such analysis, and which program I should use for that purpose.

Thank you so much for your expertise.
