AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Sarah,

You can use 3dttest++, 3dMEMA, or 3dMVM for such a 2x2 repeated-measures design plus a covariate. 3dMVM is probably the easiest approach, but if you want to try 3dMEMA or 3dttest++, you would have to run piecewise t-tests. For example, for A1B1-A1B2 at group level, you need to have effect estimate of A1B1-A1B2 from each subject plus its t-statistic. Similarly for other scenarios such as A1B1, A1B2, A1B2, A2B2, A2B1-A2B2, A1B1-A2B1, A1B2-A1B2, or (A1B1-A1B2)-(A2B1-A2B2).
